Welcome to the New England School of Protocol, where we are all about boosting confidence and making a positive impression through etiquette. Etiquette is not just about forks and knives; it’s about leaving a positive mark and honing your communication skills to build better relationships, whether at school, at work, or in everyday life. We believe etiquette fosters respect, consideration, and a culture of courtesy, enabling us to navigate diverse social settings. In your professional life, etiquette lays the foundation for both personal and career growth.
Our dining etiquette and social skills workshops aim to give every individual a strong foundation in social graces and interpersonal skills. Consider the program as an investment in your child, your teen, or yourself. Mastering refined social skills isn’t just about being polite; it’s about exuding confidence, paving the way for success, and setting yourself apart.
ET·I·QUETTE [et-i-ket]
Noun: The word etiquette is French and means “sticker” or “note.” In the mid-18th century, this word referred to small notes attached to various objects, explaining them, including notes explaining proper behavior in French courts. As a literal translation, etiquette simply means a collection of little reminders to help people understand how to behave in various situations. The purpose of etiquette is not to be a social snob or to put on an appearance. Instead, it means to be socially considerate and to have respect and courtesy towards others.
We believe in the transformative power of etiquette, which is why our programs are designed to meet diverse needs. Our private sessions can be customized for families, schools, and organizations, focusing on specific goals and challenges. Additionally, our group events create opportunities for social interaction, allowing participants to practice their skills in a supportive environment.
New England School of Protocol hosts a range of workshops, classes, and private events in cities both within and beyond Massachusetts. Collaborating with schools, universities, recreation departments, country clubs, community centers, as well as businesses, we’re dedicated to imparting our expertise and knowledge on etiquette.

With such high praise in her online reviews, I was at ease knowing that my money would be well spent. I am happy to report that indeed it was and here I am, happy to also leave a positive review as we could not have had a better experience. Nikki is a true professional as we learned a lot but most importantly truly enjoyed our session. My son will be scheduling an additional program with her very soon. Thank you Nikki! She learns a lot through Nikki and thoroughly enjoys herself (though she is always doubtful prior to attending). She even teaches me new things that I didn't know! I highly recommend it. My ten-year-old son took a course about social skills through our town that was organized and led by New England School of Protocol. He enjoyed himself and learned a lot. He's taken two courses with this teacher and her teaching style was well matched to young learners (and I'm sure would also be great for older kids or adults as well). She thought Nikki (the instructor) was super helpful and Siya now has some notes based on the workshop that should help her in the near future as she heads to college. She really enjoyed it and loves discussing what she learned with the family and can't wait to try out her Restaurant Ready Skills at a fancy restaurant! Highly recommend! She is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the subject, making the experience both informative and engaging. Her clear explanations of dining etiquette, particularly the differences between American and Continental styles, were easy to understand. Nikki's expertise and enthusiasm created a welcoming and enjoyable learning environment. I highly recommend her class to anyone looking to refine their dining skills or deepen their understanding of etiquette.
